TAPIGAMI is a contemporary art form created by artist Danny Scheible. He uses unlikely material to create interactive art installations. This is sure to be an engaging and educational experience for artists of all ages!
Rube Goldberg Machine by Brett Doar
Brett Doar is a multi-disciplinary artist and engineer known for building Rube Goldberg machines; complex contraptions in which a series of devices perform simple tasks that when linked together produce a domino effect creating interactive and kinetic devices.
USC Makey Makey Interactive Exhibit
A delegate of USC Joint Educational Project’s Young Scientist Program will be hosting a makey makey booth that will teach young STEM enthusiasts about circuits and electricity.
National Renewable Energy Lab
This the only federal laboratory dedicated to research, development, commercialization, and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. They’ll be conducting an energy analysis of the Innovation Fair’s site!
If you like tinkering with electronics then this is the booth for you. Arduinos are like little computers you can program to do things, and it interacts with the world through electronic sensors, lights, and motors.
California Highway Patrol and Radar Technology
Come check out a CHP car and learn more about the technology they use between 10am and 12:30pm, including the speed radar device.
